Twitter Still Growing

Twitter must be happy with their latest numbers. From May 2008- June 2009 they saw an impressive 1,460% growth in visitors to their site. That equates to 44.5 million visitors of which about half that are in the US, demonstrating strong international appeal.

Even more amazing there are even more visitors if you count all the people using third party apps like Tweetdeck.

This is incredible growth for such a young business and places it ahead of ESPN and about level with Craigslist in terms of popularity. It now sits at the 52nd most popular site in the world.
